Pink Shopping Favorites

Hey loves.

Today is Monday, and I'm well aware that most of you dislike this day of the week.
To brighten up the beginning of this week, I wanted to share my shopping-favorites with you.As you may notice, they have all something in common...they are all PINK!

Well,sometimes I love to wear pink. Not the 'looking-like-a-little-pink-pig' kind of pink, but simpy wearing the one or other pink detail. But mostly I love to wear black, grey or camouflage to hit the gym. It all depends on my mood, which seems to be all pink today haha.
Hope you like my favorites. If you are looking for some new fancy and motivational gym-stuff, have a look at the items below.

Have a wonderful new week!

Transformation #2

Hey there!

Well I kind of forgot to create a post about my new transformation. As you may remember, I told you that I will write a ''review'' of every last month just as a little report about my transformation for that month. So here I am!
Anyway, as already posted, our coach was very satisfied again with our form at the last check-up. I lost some bodyfat again, I have become a little bit more shredded and so on.
Therefor, let the numbers speak for themselves once again:
  • Beginning of June (1st check-up):
Weight: 57.7 kg
Body Fat Percentage: 27.9%

Neck: 33 cm
Chest: 86 cm
Arms: 28 cm

Waist: 68 cm
Hips: 89 cm
Thighs: 55 cm
Calves: 36 cm

Shirt Size: M
Pants Size: 38

  • Mid-June (2nd check-up):
Weight: 57 kg -> -0.7kg
Body Fat Percentage: 24.6% -> -3.3%

No measurements here as I decided to only measure at the beginning of every month
  • Beginning of July (3rd check-up):
Weight: 56.3 kg -> -0.7kg
Body Fat Percentage: 22.4% -> -2.2%

Neck: 32.5 cm -> -0.5cm
Chest: 86 cm
Arms: 27 cm -> -1cm

Waist: 66 cm -> -2cm
Hips: 85 cm -> -4cm
Thighs: 53 cm -> -2cm
Calves: 36 cm

Shirt Size: M/S
Pants Size: 38-36
  • Mid-July (4th check-up):
Weight: 56 kg -> -0.3kg
Body Fat Percentage: 21.4% -> -1%

Again, no measurements here.
  • Beginning of August (5th check-up):
Weight: 55kg -> -1kg
Body Fat Percentage: 20.2 % -> -1.2%

Neck: 32 cm -> -0.5cm
Chest: 86 cm
Arms: 26 cm -> -1cm
Waist: 64.5 cm -> -1.5cm
Hips: 83.5 cm -> -1.5cm
Thighs: 52 cm -> -1cm
Calves: 35.5 cm -> -0.5cm

Shirt Size: M/S
Pants Size: S

I recognized that even if I didn't lose that much weight or body fat, I have definitely become more shredded,which really fills me with joy, seriously! I honestly don't see that much progress, which is normal because I see myself everyday. But two days ago, when I was wearing high-heels again and a skinny jeans, I noticed my quads to get clearly visible.And yesterday too while I was on a little shopping trip with my lovely sister. I have been waiting for her at the fitting rooms, and as a female, I looked myself in the mirror of course and I recognized that my arms look a little badass already, without sounding too swanky now haha.

Now, enough of me! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and I wish you a great start for next week my loves!

Cheatmeal

Hey there!

I know, some of you have already seen this on Instagram or Facebook, but I thought it would be worth mentioning it here as well, to keep things honest.
I actually started my preparation on the 1st of August. But this doesn't mean that I don't have the permission to enjoy a cheat-meal once in a while.

Before I started this preparation program for my first competition, I took the opportunity to indulge on everything for the ,,last time''. And when I say 'everything', I mean everything :From pasta, pizza and over to chocolate, donuts and so on... I stuffed myself  ,which was actually a very good strategy, because I was quite disgusted by junk food and sweets.
Then I was eating and training according to my diet-plan and training plan for an entire month! And I had great results...remember when I posted about my transformation after 1 month of clean-eating?

''Unfortunately'' ,we went to the Electric Love Festival in Salzburg, Austria, for 5 days in July. Even though I prepared my food, I had to throw it away after 2 days, because it started to smel kind of nasty. And I didn't feel like risking a food intoxication... So I tried to make the best out of it, which only worked for exactly one day .I forgave myself by telling me that I was following my plan to a T for the past weeks and that these few days couldn't be that bad. Therefor, the festival became kind of a big cheat-meal , whoops!

And yesterday, my boyfriend and I decided to have another epic cheat-meal. Actually we wanted to wait until his birthday, which is in 2 weeks only, but we couldn't resist and we ordered at Pizza hut's. MUAHAHA!
We shared 2 garlic breads with shrimps and a big and greasy cheezy crust, half brie-cheese and honey, half ''Antillaise' (which is pineapple with chicken, so it's a bit healthy too, *joking*)

I am not saying that this cheat-meal ruined something,but I have to admit that my form this morning was kind of different. However I am still satisfied and I know that I will be in my previous form by no later than 2 days.
For now, I will stick to my plan again until my coach is back from his holidays. We will have another check-up in early September and of course Ken and I will probably have one last cheatmeal again before we really hit the 'shredding-phase'.

That said, enjoy the rest of the week!

Avocado Cookies

Hello people!

How are you? How has your weekend been?
I was just sitting at home, recovering from my first preparation week haha, and suddenly came up with the idea of baking something healthy but delicious again. But as it was already sunday afternoon, and while on sunday everything is closed, (grrr) , I had to wait until yesterday to get the things I need.
But still, I had no idea what I should create for you. So during my grocery shopping, I was going through the fruit and veggie department and then I had a brainwave! I want to bake avocado cookies!
So I picked an avocado, thought about what I could add to get healthy cookies and went straight home to get started. Of course I paid my food haha. So here is the recipe:

What you need:
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 egg
  • 1tbsp rapeseed-oil (coconut oil goes as well as it's very neutral in its taste)
  • 1/4 cup stevia, or only some drops if you have liquid stevia
  • 2tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1tbsp vanilla powder
  • 1tbsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • dark chocolate chips
Directions:
  1. Cut open your avocado and take out the pip
  2. Spoon out the avocado stuff and put it in bowl
  3. Mash your avocado until slightly smooth with a fork
  4. Add your oil, egg, brown sugar, stevia & vanilla powder and mix it up
  5. Combine flours, baking soda, baking powder & salt
  6. Next, mix dry & wet ingredients
  7. Stir in some of the chocolate chips ( as many as you want )
  8. Put the dough in the fridge for about 1 hour
  9. After 45 min, preheat oven already to 180°c.
  10. After that, take out your dough & form your cookies. I spooned it out with a normal soup-spoon and shape little dough balls.
  11. Place on non-sticking baking paper and press slightly until they get a cookie shape.
  12. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until they get a light-brown color.
  13. Et voilà!

mashed avocado
Form little dough-balls
Press slightly to get the cookie-shape
don't mind the color, they are a bit green-ish because of the avocado

1st week of preparation

Hello!
Finally my first workout-week of my preparation is over.

As I already told you in my previous post, I was given other workout-routines. I didn't expect them do be so heavy , to be honest. When Ken and I started hitting the gym two years ago, we also went to the gym 5 times a week and we also trained in supersets. But when you stop working out in supersets , it gets really hard once you have to do them again.

My first training-day was leg-day. And as if this leg-session wasn't heavy enough already, I still had to do a 40-minutes-HIIT afterwards. So just imagine me trying to go downstairs...haha Plus, I went pole dancing again the same day. I try to combine fitness and pole-dancing, I really need that kind of distraction once a week.
Then the second day was back-shoulders with back in supersets. The workout-session was okay... But the day after, I was so damn sore from pole-dance classes and my previous workouts that I could hardly move!
Third workout-day was biceps, triceps and again shoulders. This was the first time that I discovered a little pumped-up vein in my left arm,which made me so happy hehe.
The day after actually killed my legs! Not only was it leg-day, but I had to train my legs in TRISET!!! And not to forget, 40 minutes of HIIT after that! Even worse than the first day! I think I will just stay in bed forever!
Last day finally, back-shoulders , again in TRISET, with biceps and triceps. And HIIT of course!

This first week was honestly the heaviest workout-week I have ever experienced in my life! But without effort, no results! I hope my body gets used to it very soon, I don't want to die every day haha.

That's it already. Now I am off again, I need some rest to recover from this madness!
Talk to you soon.

My morning-pill-cocktail(BCAA, Amino-acids, CLA, Omega3, Fat-burner & Vitamins)
See my little pumped-vein?
Me, after a great leg-session, trying to stay alive haha

Monday check-up

This afternoon's form,after lunch.

Hey you!
How was your start of the week? Mine started with a check-up at my coach's.
It was now the last check-up before the real shredding starts. The next check-up will be in one month because he is on holiday.

As I already mentioned in my previous post, he changed my training plan.
Now I will have to hit the gym 5 times a week, train in supersets and he added up 20 more minutes on my HIITs at the end of every workout.
So we are really attacking now! Plus, he was very satisfied with my form. I lost about 1.5 % of body fat again and even 1.5kg , which was nothing but water retentions and fat. But so far so good!
That's it already about the check-up. We didn't stay that long because Ken had to go to work and I had to go grocery shopping once again. But this time only veggies and fruits. We still have enough meat at home haha.

And at the beginning of August I will meet up with Elena Sporthun to see which competitionsuit I am going to wear, because she is the one who is going to design and create it for me. After googling different kinds of competitionsuits I already made my choice:
It will be a mint or turquoise bikini with a lot of Swarovski stones but also some sequins that are mermaid-ish, if you know what I mean haha. ( similar to the one of the picture below )

If you want to know more about my progress, I will blog about it at the beginning of august, as I take monthly measurements. So stay tuned!

I wish you all a great and successful rest of the week!
That's what I was talking about hehe

Yes, I also bought some carbs, but at my coach's shop, not at the grocery store.

Lazy Sunday

So, today is Sunday...
I actually hate sundays. Not because it is the day before Monday but because almost everything is closed and usually I have no idea what to do. That's why I normally clean my room, go on long walks with my fluffy buddy Mumble or just stay at home and watch TV the whole day.
What are your plans for today? Or how does your typical sunday look like?

Like I said, it is the day before Monday. So tomorrow my boyfriend and I are having another check-up again. This will be the last check-up before we start our real preparation for our competition in November. I will get a different workout-plan, meaning I will have to workout 5 times per week instead of 4 times, which I think won't be a problem for us since Ken and I used to train 5 times a week,initially. I don't know if my coach will change something on my eating-plan as it actually works quite well at the moment. Well, let's see what he tells us tomorrow.

Here a picture of my baby-ceps hehe . (baby-ceps is a little biceps)
Enjoy your lazy sunday!
